This site is located on the corner of Poplar Row and Annesley Bridge, overlooking the Grand Canal. The design for a 3-bedroom house responds to the site, it’s constraints and surrounding. The resulting house consists of 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and storage to the ground floor and a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room to the first floor. A large zinc clad box at first floor level, containing the living area is orientated towards the east, flooding the upper floor with morning light.
