Designed by OMS Architects Ltd, the Swedish and International Home furniture store opened its first store in Ireland in 2008. The building was designed with sustainability as a core philosophy. Measuring 30,000 sq. m over two floor levels, the design encompasses the largest geo-thermal bore field in the British Isles. No fossil fuels are used to power or heat the building.

The buildling was designed by Brian McClinton and the Construction Phase managed by Frank Doyle.
